  2. The problem

    Before every game, a researcher spent four hours pulling together profiles on 24 plus players from scattered, unverified sources. It cost about $180 a game, over $15,000 across a season, and the quality depended entirely on how tired the researcher was that week. Worse, there was no source verification. One wrong stat read out on a live broadcast damages credibility permanently. You cannot un-say it.

  3. The solution

    You type a player name. Four minutes later you have a broadcast ready profile: complete stats, contracts, injuries, career records, biography, playing style, coach quotes, family stories, community work. Every claim carries a source citation, a live URL and a confidence level. Anything the system cannot verify is excluded rather than guessed. Producers get a verification report and make the final call. It scales to any league, any team, any number of games, at the same quality every time.

  4. How it was built

    A layered pipeline in n8n. Layer one pulls everything from the official league sources and the trusted public reference databases: stats, contracts, injuries, records. Layer two is a research agent that detects what is missing and runs sourced searches through Perplexity to fill the gaps with the human material, the playing style and the quotes and the stories. Layer three is the part that matters: a verification agent that scores URL quality, matches quotes back to their source, and assigns a confidence rating to every individual claim. Anything unverified is dropped. Only trustworthy, sourced facts make the final report. A fourth agent sweeps for last minute injuries and lineup changes right before tip off. This is not automation. It is verified intelligence, and the difference is that it would rather tell you nothing than tell you something wrong.
