Two Departments, One Language, Finally

Demand planning, sales and e-commerce, taught to build their own coworkers instead of their own spreadsheets.

  1. 3 Teams trained: demand and supply, sales, e-commerce
2 Systems taught to read each other
    1 Dashboard that rebuilds itself
  2. The problem

Sales lived in Excel. Demand and supply lived in another system entirely. Neither spoke the other's dialect, so every handoff meant a human translating numbers between two tools and hoping they got it right. Meanwhile the e-commerce side was rebuilding the same subscription reporting by hand every month, from a messy export, in a spreadsheet that broke the moment anyone touched a column. Three teams, all doing translation work that no human should be doing.

  3. The solution

I trained them to build digital coworkers, not to run prompts. Demand and supply got the agentic operating system session: a shared context folder so nobody has to re-brief the AI, written context files so the AI already knows the business, and scheduled tasks so work happens without anyone starting it. Then I put sales and demand in the same room and we made their two systems finally read each other, so the data translation stopped being a person's job. And the e-commerce team learned to turn a raw export into a live dashboard that rebuilds itself, tracking revenue, subscribers, units and penetration by category, so the monthly reporting ritual just stopped.

  4. How it was built

Everything ran on Claude, using Claude Cowork for the live team-facing work and Claude Code where the build got heavier. The method I taught them is the one I use myself: define the outcome first, name the inputs, plan and argue about it before writing anything, execute, then save the whole thing as a Skill so it is a repeatable recipe rather than a one off. That last step is the one people skip, and it is the one that makes the difference between a good demo and a tool the team still uses in six months. The dashboards are built directly from their own exports and are designed to survive the day their data moves to a proper unified model, because it will.

Watch the wires draw. This is the real architecture.
